Local Earth Website Management / WordPress / Social Media

Local Earth is a nonprofit organization that inspires the sustainable use of natural resources & healthy lifestyle.  We are looking for an individual or a team of web savvy individuals with a passion for healthy environment and community to join us in this movement!

This is a volunteer community group and we work together to create positive, sustainable and healthy change in San Diego.  We really need some wordpress savvy people on the team to help manage the website and post social media content.

The basics of the site and operations are in place… we just need some help sustaining the movement and momentum… many hands/minds makes light work! ¬†This would require very little time from one individual and even less for a small team. ¬†Only 1-2 hours per week is necessary updating project & event information.

Thank you for you desire to work together as a commUNITY to create a better world!

With warmth & gratitude,
The Local Earth Collective

Local Earth Photographer & Videographer Invite!

Local Earth is a nonprofit organization that inspires the sustainable use of natural resources & healthy lifestyle.  We are inviting local photographers and videographers with a passion for healthy environment and community to join us in this movement!

Our group hosts fun, healthy, inspiring and educational events that promote our mission.  We are looking for people in the community who enjoy film and photography and would like to share the special moments from our events with the community at large via our website and social networks.

This is a great opportunity to connect with other like-minded people in San Diego and to promote your personal artwork as well.  We will credit all photo and video content to the artist and can provide a link to your website.

Thank you for you desire to work together as a commUNITY to create a better world!

With warmth & gratitude,
The Local Earth Collective

The Local Earth Collective invites you and the commUNITY of San Diego to join us for a celebration of the 2012 Winter Solstice on Dec. 21st! The Mayans along with many other cultures around the world view this solstice as the end of a cycle in history… and the beginning of anew.

We will be gathering as friends and community to usher in a healthy and positive transition into yet another cycle of history and time… a new beginning! Let us come together in a celebration of music, dancing, love, laughter, unity, diversity,¬†peace and compassion!

May this moment in history bring us a harmonious integration of indigenous wisdom and appropriate technology. We are fortunate to be alive in a time of such potent transition and transformation.
